Speak to us, and let us be Your hands and feet. Protect us, Lord, and keep us with You always. Come, Holy Spirit. Move us. GIVE US LOVE. For your people. Your church. The lost. Our family and friends. Our enemies. And pure love for You. A renewed love for You. Renew our souls, and may we come with repentent and humble hearts. As we seek Your face...

Worship Our Lord

Psalm 34:1

“I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.”

Notice it says “I will praise the LORD at ALL TIMES” not ‘I will praise the LORD at church’ or ‘when I feel like it.’ The thing is that you don’t have to go to a temple (like in the Old Testament) to worship and connect with God! He encourages us to worship him everyday with everything we do.

There are many ways to worship. You can worship God through singing and music, or through prayer. Even making a sacrifice (like not eating chocolate J) The main thing is to worship our Mighty God through our daily actions.

God doesn’t need to be reminded how great He is. He already knows that. WE need to be reminded how great He is.

True worship though happens when you give yourself completely to God. Your worship is not the same when you are unfocused or have things ‘in the way’ of fully praising our Lord.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” –Mark 12:30

When we worship, God looks past our words to see the attitude of our hearts. Real worship happens when your spirit responds to God, not to some music. So, worship with your heart and do not care about the world. Worship is about God and you: the connection. So praise Him with your life.

Hey all! I am soo glad you all are back! I had so many friends away at retreats and what not. Well.. welcome back!! I just feel better everyone is back home safely.. You just have to tell me ALL about your trips!!

Yeah.. so.. the sleepover was good. Note: I am always the last to fall asleep and the first to wake up.. almost always.. I'm crazy.

Here we see that Jesus Christ tells us to go out into the world and tell everyone about the Gospel (the good news) and Jesus. Also, in 2 Corinithians 5:20 (I think) it says we are to be Christ's ambassadors. Which means that we have to be "spoke person" or the "representitive" for Jesus. Isn't that cool? We, as Christians, get to represent Jesus. Therefore, we must live our lives for Jesus and as Jesus Christ. We fail, naturally, but it's important we try to show everyone that "Hey, this Jesus is something different.."

Pirates was good. It was VERY graphic. I didn't know there would be a third and fourth movie, so I was a bit suprised at the end. Over all, it was pretty good. But, if you can, put it off until you can get cheap tickets or wait until it's on video/DVD. Ahha.. there's some spice in this one..
